The Birth of Meishi International School
    In the autumn of 2000, the sunshine was radiant and enchanting; people were immersed in a cheerful atmosphere, celebrating the coming of the new century. At this very moment, a Chinese couple -Yang Deming and Chen Qi, who had been living in the United States for many years, came back to China quietly in order to invest and establish Meishi International School. Their actual action of investing in education was a great gift to their motherland and the new century. With full support from the Meishi Group and all levels of the Chinese Government, through almost two years' elaborate planning and hard work, night and day, a beautiful and unique campus with a mixed style of both east and west and a high standard of equipment appeared to the public. The school was opened formally on Sep.1 of 2002. From then on, Meishi international School filled the vacuum of lack a real international school approved by the Government in Sichuan Province. The school is the only one in Western China accredited by the Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation (CITA) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) school authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization(IBO). Also, the school contributed largely to the reform and opening up polices the construction of modernization and the improvement of the investment environment.
